Mr Acharya performed key hole surgery on my right foot in July 2022. The surgery was extensive, correcting a bunion on my big toe, fixed hammer toe deformities to my second, third and fourth toes and a tendon release to my fifth toe. Mr Acharya is professional with a kind and warm manner. He took time to fully explain everything at every stage and was happy to answer any questions.Having had keyhole surgery, I was able to be weight bearing from immediately after the operation, going up and down the stairs at the hospital with one crutch for assistance. I have just had a final follow up appointment after four months and the surgery has been a great success. The scarring from the keyhole technique is minimal and I have recovered most of my range of motion. There is still some swelling at the end of the day, but this is to be expected for the first 12 months. This isn't a surgery to be undertaken lightly and the recovery in the first few weeks is challenging. However, I'm thrilled with the results and planning a repeat surgery on my left foot with Mr Acharya next summer.

On my first initial appointment I found him to be a extremely nice man, very good at listening, understanding and I was treated very well, I was extremely thankful and delighted with the plan he had put in place for me at that time as I am suffering with persistent pain for a good amount of time now so I was really happy that finally I was being heard and potentially helped, however since then the care I have received has been rather messy, time wasting and disappointing.
